Overview

Color Reflex: Tap & Match ("the App", "we", "our") is a casual color-matching game developed as a solo indie project. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information the App accesses, how it is used, and your rights.

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information. No account registration is required to play.

Information We Do Not Collect

The App does not collect or have access to:

Your name, email address, or any contact information
Your location or GPS data
Your photos, camera, or microphone
Your contacts or calendar
Any account credentials

Local Storage (High Scores)

The App saves your high score locally on your device using Apple's UserDefaults storage. This data:

Never leaves your device
Is not shared with us or any third party
Can be deleted at any time by uninstalling the App

Advertising – Google AdMob

The App displays ads served by Google AdMob, a third-party advertising platform operated by Google LLC. AdMob may collect and process certain device information to serve relevant ads. This may include:

Advertising identifier (IDFA / GAID)
Device type, operating system version, and language
IP address (used for approximate location at country level)
Ad interaction data (views, clicks)

App Tracking Transparency (ATT) & Consent

In accordance with Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework (iOS 14.5+), the App will ask for your permission before allowing AdMob to access your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) for personalised ads.

When you first launch the App, you will see a system prompt asking whether you allow tracking. You can:

Allow: AdMob may serve personalised ads relevant to your interests.
Deny: AdMob will only serve non-personalised ads. The App continues to work fully regardless of your choice.

For users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, the App also displays a consent screen (powered by Google's User Messaging Platform) to comply with GDPR requirements before any advertising data is collected.

Your Opt-Out Options

You can change your tracking preference at any time:

iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track"
iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising → disable "Personalised Ads"
App re-launch: On supported iOS versions, you can reset your consent choice by deleting and reinstalling the App.

Children's Privacy

Color Reflex: Tap & Match is suitable for all ages, including children under 13.

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
No account registration, login, or profile creation is required.
No in-app chat, social features, or links to external social networks are present.
Ads served by Google AdMob comply with Google's Families Policy when the App is distributed in family-oriented categories.

If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately at cadetcassel@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.

Third-Party Services

The only third-party SDK integrated in the App is Google AdMob (including the Google User Messaging Platform for consent management). We do not use analytics SDKs, crash-reporting tools, or any other third-party libraries that collect user data.

Data Security

Because we do not collect personal data, there is no personal data for us to secure on our end. Your high score is stored only on your own device and protected by your device's built-in security (iOS sandbox, passcode / Face ID).

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted at this URL with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
